Postcard perfect pic! Oceanside is quite the aquatic, fisher/ surfer/ beach-bum community. Loved it, and want to return!

Very user-friendly beach (like NYC beaches). Lots of people and activity going on. We hung out until dusk then returned the following morning.

Another "first" for me. I've heard that on windy days, drivers need to be cautious of tumblweeds flying into the road.

Aside from his sister's wedding in Temecula, my (then) sweetheart and his family took us to my choice of Disneyland or Seaworld. I LOVE aquatic, so Seaworld it was!

Inside the gates I shot more palm tree pix...can we say- overkill? :)

Before the tragic killer whale incident which occurred years after this photo, Shamu was the main event of Seaworld. We sat far enough away to not get splashed on.

These are one of my favorite bird species (the others being seagulls, cranes, ostriches and peacocks). The flamingos are so pretty flocked together in pinkness.
