Awaken To Sun
There's nothing more soothing to me than waking up and beginning a day in the warmth of the sun.
Palm Pals
Miniature pams around the pool.
Bright Orange
Will learn what these flora are called. They're such a treat to admire!
Cactus Flowers
This was the first time I had a chance to really look at these huge beautiful flowers that bloom on the saguro.
Boynton Canyon
This was one of the hikes in Sedona that I missed last time.
Blooms
Blooms adorn this cactus in the wild under the hot sun.
Kachina Woman
One of two spires at the saddle of Boynton is called Kachina Woman and is said to have a vortex.
Colors
Rust, blue, green. Whata beautiful land to be seen.
Flute Music
Atop the landing, a man played the flute and sent out a prayer for the world between each tune.
The Heart Man
Other hikers knew him and I was pleased to meet and speak with him at length. He climbs Boynton daily to play his flute and give each hiker a heart carved from the red rock.
Day's End
It seems the sky goes on forever in Arizona.
Blue Hills
Another awesome day.
Reunion
My "Mesa Parents" and I gathered together many months after we met in Sedona.
First Lunch
We had a wonderful lunch here and laughed the hours away!
Then Desert
We went to Bahama Bucks for frozen slushy treats. I had an exotic mix of sugary, icey goodness!
Evening Drive
After a fun day in Mesa, I drove west back to Goodyear.
Cactus Gardens
It's fun to see cactus in the wild AND in residential settings. I'm amused by the variety of shapes, colors and species of cacti.
Wow
Super tall!
Back To SkyHarbor
Love the wide lanes and light traffic in the Valley area.
Promise
Every time I leave Arizona, I vow to return.
