Orenda Ayashe

On September 7, 2013 I came to explore for the day. A friend who visited years earlier with her kids, suggested this interesting site. www.ohmegardens.com.

Who knew? I was intrigued as I began wandering the slopes and pathways. There was a surprise around every corner.

The sun shown just right, as if guiding me toward a grander vista.

Such a contrast to all the greenery on the Puget Sound side of the Cascades, but nonetheless uniquely beautiful.

This was an industrial area. There are several spots along the walk where a bird's-eye view can be enjoyed.

These were numerous throughout the park and my favorite feature of Ohme Gardens. Trolls, Hobbits and Fairies would love it!

The Garden holds such serenity. The environment invited me to stop for a while and take it all in. I actually lost time. Over an hour mysteriously went unaccounted for.

More than one waterfall graces the grounds. Little stone benches accompany them.

Another waterfall ending in a dark green pool. Each turn on the maze-like path provided a new vision and surprise to discover.

In the middle right is a stone bench where I sat and allowed my mind to drift - not a hard task for me anyway. :)

There was such a calming effect at Ohme Gardens and (pleasantly) not over-run by lots of people. It seemed meant for me on this day.

Arrived too late for venturing through the Market. I was looking for a particular Chocolatier shop, but missed out before driving home. Maybe next trip?
